Dear Woman,

My Story…

My name is La’Trice, and for over a decade I have been called into the world of spiritual motivation. I didn’t choose this assignment—God chose me. And every chapter of my life prepared me for the work I do today: empowering women in business and helping them rise, rebuild, and reclaim their purpose.

I’ve started more than 15 businesses throughout my life, and for a long time, none of them succeeded. Not because I wasn’t capable, but because I wasn’t walking in my calling. I was moving without direction, living without purpose, and surviving instead of thriving.

My past includes 7½ years in prison for fraud, misappropriation of identification, and identity theft. I am not proud of those choices, but I stand boldly in the truth that my past does not define me—it refines me.

During my third prison term, I entered seven months pregnant… and came out empty two and a half years later. I felt like Naomi in the Bible—broken, grieving, and stripped of everything familiar. While I was incarcerated, my husband left me, took my newborn and my two-year-old, moved to another state, and later married the woman he’d been involved with.

The same man who drove me to the agent’s office at seven months pregnant to turn me in…
The same man who had served 22 years in prison himself…
I understood his pain, his trauma, and his choices. But God had a different plan for my life.
BUT GOD!

My rights were violated by the Department of Corrections and the hospital where I gave birth. I carried pain, injustice, betrayal, and heartbreak all at once—but even in the darkest places, God was shaping my purpose.

When I thought I had nothing left, God began to rebuild me piece by piece. He restored my identity. He restored my voice. He restored my mission.

And He revealed my calling:

✨ To advocate for pregnant women and mothers in prison
✨ To stand as a voice for every woman who has ever felt broken, unseen, or unheard

Today, I fight for women entrepreneurs, and I fight for incarcerated mothers who deserve dignity, protection, and hope.
